Angelina (Barrese) Metrano

Angelina Metrano, 98, a lifelong resident of Port Chester died May 31, 2017. She was born June 19, 1918 in Port Chester to the late Santo and Antonia DeLorenzo Barrese. She was raised and educated in Port Chester. Mrs. Metrano was married to the late Victor Metrano who died September 7, 2013. She was a a seamstress for the Kay Chester Dress Co. in Port Chester. Mrs. Metrano was a parishioner of the Corpus Christi Church. She is survived by her beloved children John Metrano and  his wife Mary of Dobbs Ferry, NY., Michael Metrano of Port Chester, NY. and Denise Salvatore and her husband Mauro of Port Chester, NY, grandchildren Michael Salvatore, Kristy Petrone, Laura Garofalo, John Metrano and Jonathan Metrano, great grandsons John Garofalo, Mason and Christian Petrone and brother Louis Barrese of Vero Beach, FL. Besides her husband she was predeceased by her brothers Patrick, Frank, Anthony and Joseph Barrese and sisters Jennie Pino and Rose Tartaglia. Visitation will be 8:30AM to 9:30 AM on Tuesday June 6, 2017 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial will follow 10AM at Corpus Christi Church 136 South Regent St. Port Chester, NY. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Saint Jude's Children's Research Hospital Memphis, TN.
