Anita (Lagano) Fox

Anna “Anita” Fox, 84, a lifelong resident of Port Chester died January 12, 2015. She was born June 11, 1930 in Port Chester to the late Rocco and Anna Calabrese Lagano. She was raised and educated in Port Chester graduating from Port Chester High School in 1949.  She was married to James “Ray” Fox on September 22, 1956 in Port Chester. Mr. Fox died May 9, 2008.  Mrs. Fox was a retired cashier for the Pitney Bowes Corp. in Stamford, CT.  She was a parishioner of the Holy Rosary Church in Port Chester.  She is survived by her son James Fox, Jr. of Los Angeles, CA. and Diane Fox and husband Kevin Alvarez of Bridgeport, CT. brothers Vincent and Joseph Lagano of Port Chester. Granddogs Jake and Sandy. Besides her husband she was predeceased by her son Frank Fox, brother Frank Lagano and sisters, Antoinette Martinelli, Tessie Ferruccio, Amelia Grillo, Mildred Postal and Joy Lagano. Visitation will be 4-8PM on Friday January 16, 2015 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00AM on Saturday January 17, 2015 at Our Lady of Mercy Church 260 Westchester Ave. Port Chester, NY., Interment is private.
