Anne and I were the best of friends throughout grade school, high school, and Claremont College. Our friendship and relationship was closer than sisters as we lived only a few blocks away and we spent so much time together. When Anne and Gerry married, Anne and I followed separate life paths. However, we resumed our friendship again when her son and daughter-in-law moved to MA. I will always treasure our friendship and the time we spent together. Anne was my true friend. I remember Anne as an honest, intelligent, and courageous woman from childhood on. In keeping with Anne's sense of humour, I will write that I was not forced to write any of these nice things about Anne Mulherine-O'Connor. She will be greatly missed by many people, especially her Husband, Sons, Grandson, and Daughters-in-Laws. To the family left behind, I will keep you all in my prayers. We were all so fortunate to have had Anne in our lives for so many years. Now, Anne can pray for us and wish us well as we continue on our life journeys.
Respectfully yours,
Kathy P. Castagna

As we remember Dear Anne -- we think of our good friend and fellow Bloomfield Bocce player. We were Champs together on the court one year and you will forever be our Champion in life. Warmest hugs to the whole family. Mary & Donna

Dear O'Connor Family,
Growing up on Haines Boulevard holds many fond memories. Your mom would always greet our childhood laughter with her warm smile...and on some days...give us all an icy cold treat to beat the summer heat. The loving gestures of a mom are everlasting and can capture our hearts. Just like a sunny childhood memory...her kindness will shine on. God bless her always...
Thinking of you all and wishing you peace and comfort during this season of life.
With Love,
Roxanne Bartlik Luce and Family

Wonderful Anne! I will always miss her. Our famous shopping trips and lunches, her great laugh, easy going personality and our long phone conversations and emails were part of a 46 year friendship - times I will always treasure. She put up a brave front and never complained - so like Anne. Rest in peace!
Love, Jane

To the O'Connor family,
Our deepest sympathy to you on the death of Mrs. O'Connor. Couldn't have asked for a better neighbor growing up. Just know she is now at peace.
