Annemarie J (Jacoby) Davis

Annemarie J. Davis, 97, a resident of Port Chester died October 8, 2015. She was born July 24, 1918 in Hamburg, Germany to the late Albert and Gertrude Kulp Jacoby.  She immigrated to the United States in 1948. She was the widow of Norman Davis, Jr. who died in 1993.  Mrs. Davis was a sales clerk at Macy’s Department Store in White Plains, NY.  She attended the Port Chester Senior Center and the Wainwright House in Rye, NY.  Mrs. Davis is survived by her son Norman Davis, III and his wife Lu-Anne of Bayside, NY. daughter Katherine Altman of Norwalk, CT. and grandson Brett Altman and wife Michelle of Danbury, Ct.  Besides her husband she was predeceased by her sister Christiane Joyce. A funeral service will be held  Saturday 11AM at Ferncliff Cemetery Chapel Secor Rd. Hartsdale, NY. There will be no visitation.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be to World Wildlife Fund, Doctors Without Borders or to American Macular Degeneration Foundation.
