Ceruzzi, Anthony Sr. (Beau)

Anthony Ceruzzi, 87, former resident of Port Chester, went to be with the Lord, after a brief illness, on February 16, 2015.  He was born December 27, 1927 in Port Chester to the late Mauro and Nicolena Spera Ceruzzi.  He was raised in Port Chester and later moved to Harrison and currently resided in Mamaroneck. He served in the Navy during WWII. He worked for his cousins at Ceruzzi Sign Company in Port Chester and later worked for Neptune Sign Company in New Rochelle for many years. He enjoyed collecting coins, making jewelry and was known by family and friends for repairing jewelry and watches.  Loving husband of the late Doris Fey Ceruzzi of 45 years, who passed away in 1995. In 2001 he married Herminia “Emma” Floyes Ceruzzi.  In addition to his wife he is survived by his son Anthony Ceruzzi (Linda) of Port Chester, his four step-children Abigail Tiglao Stuart (Trevor) of Utah, Mark Tiglao, Marvin Tiglao and Dairyn Tiglao of Mamaroneck, two grandchildren Anthony John Ceruzzi  (Tracey) of Port Chester, Cristy Lynn Heffernan (Craig) of Port Chester and five great-grandchildren.  He is also survived by his brothers Alex Ceruzzi “Butch” (Lena) of Rye Brook, Frank (Grace) of Myrtle Beach, North Carolina, sisters Lucretia “Dolley” Fluskey of Rye Brook and Mary Muralo of Mystic Ct, sister-in-laws Bea Ceruzzi of Port Chester, Annie Ceruzzi of France and many nieces and nephews. He is pre-deceased by his brothers Vincent, Michael and Mauro Ceruzzi. There will be a brief viewing at 8:30 am at the funeral home on Friday, February 20th and Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00am at Our Lady of Mercy Church on Westchester Avenue, Port Chester, NY. Interment to follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery, Rye.
