Barbara Nethercott Lund, 90, a resident of Greenwich died September 21, 2015. She was born in Port Chester, NY on October 9, 1924 to the late Patrick W. and Clementina Berbusse Nethercott.  She was raised and educated in Port Chester graduating from Our Lady of Mercy Grammer School and from Port Chester High School. She married George E. Lund on February 3, 1951 at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Port Chester, NY who predeceased her on September 1, 2010. Mrs. Lund worked at RB&W and Central Plumbing in Port Chester. She was then a bookkeeper for P.W. Nethercott, Inc.  She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Greenwich, CT.  Mrs. Lund was one of the founding members of the Fairfield/Westchester Chapter of Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America, Inc. (CCFA). She received the CCFA Service Recognition Award in 1995 and was honored at their annual luncheon.  Mrs. Lund is survived by her daughter Judy Lund of Greenwich, CT., granddaughter Lisa Morrison Gayle and husband Shaun of Norwalk, CT., grandson James Morrison and wife Tiffany of Millbrook, NY., 5 great grandchildren, Leilani, Jason, Jayce, Ryleigh and MacKenzie and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her husband she was predeceased by her sisters Elizabeth Malone, Agnes Bucci, Rita Oxer and Marie Sudol, brothers Patrick, William, John and James Nethercott.  Visitation will be 5-8PM today, Tuesday September 22, 2015 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10AM on Wednesday September 23, 2015 at Sacred Heart Church 95 Henry St. Byram, CT. Interment to follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery Greenwich, CT.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to GEMS (Greenwich Emergency Medical Services) 1111 East Putnam Ave Suite 201 Riverside, CT  06878 or to Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation 30 Glenn St. White Plains, NY 10603.
