Beatrice "Bea" (Striani) Pietro

Beatrice "Bea" Pietro, of Port Chester, died peacefully at home September 24th, 2016. She was 92 and was born May 2, 1924 to the late Biaggio and Jennie Navario Striani.  She was raised and educated in White Plains, graduating from White Plains HIgh School in 1943.  She was married to Angelo Pietro on September 15, 1946.  He predeceased her on March 21, 2007.  Mrs. Pietro worked for many years at Combe, Inc. in White Plains.  She was an active member at the Port Chester Senior Center, enjoying her job as librarian.  She was a parishioner of Corpus Christi Church.  Mrs. Pietro is survived by her daughter Jo-Ann Ryan, grandchildren Kathleen (Steve) Hunter, Jenny (Jason) Rackham, and Robert (Lori) Ryan.  Also survived by great-grandchildren, Ryan and Alex Hunter, and Jackson Ryan.  She was predeceased by her brother, Bernard Striani and her sisters Jenny Johnson and Julia Storte.  Visitation will be from 4-8 on Wednesday September 28, 2016 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 10AM on Thursday
September 29, 2016 at Corpus Christi 136 South Regent St Port Chester, NY. Interment to follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery, Rye NY.  Memorial Contributions in memory of Mrs. Pietro may be made to Sisters of the Divine Compassion 52 North Broadway White Plains, NY 10603
