Betty (Barbero) Longo

Betty Longo, 93, a lifelong resident of Port Chester died April 16, 2015. She was born February 9, 1922 to the late George and Teresa Cesario Barbero. She was raised and educated in Port Chester graduating from Port Chester High School in 1940. Mrs. Longo was the widow of Joseph Longo who died September 17, 2012.  She was a retired biller for Fawcett/CBS Publications in Greenwich, CT.   Mrs. Longo was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mercy Church. She is survived by her sisters Mary Barbero of Port Chester and Teresa Betz of Washington, DC, brother John Barbero of Port Chester. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and 4 grand nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by her brothers George and Anthony Barbero.  Visitation will be 2-5PM on Monday April 20, 2015 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 10AM on Tuesday April 21, 2015 at Our Lady of Mercy Church 260 Westchester Ave. Port Chester, NY. Entombment to follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery Rye Brook, NY. Memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Mercy Church.
