Charles J Parlatore

Charles J. Parlatore of Port Chester, NY. died peacefully on November 21, 2017. Charles was born in Port Chester, NY to John and Josephine Parlatore and was a lifelong resident of Port Chester.  After graduating from Port Chester High School in 1945, Charles enlisted in the Navy and served as a Second Class Petty Officer for 4 years.  Upon discharge he attended and graduated from Iona College in 1953.  Charles married his wife Dorothy K. Harlan in 1957.  Charles was very passionate about his community of Port Chester, serving as a Public Accountant for over 60 years.  He also served on both the School and Village Boards and was a dedicated Elk's Club member for 60 years.  Charles enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and adored his 7 grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents, John and Josephine Parlatore, his wife Dorothy and his brother Anthony Parlatore.  He is survived by his two daughters, Peggy Kelly (Alfred) of Rye, NY and Barbara Miller (Darin) of York, Maine.  His seven grandchildren Alfred, Kaitlin ,Maggie, Jack, Andrew, Kathryn and Elizabeth. A Memorial Mass will be held 11AM on Friday December 22, 2017 at Church of the Resurrection 910 Boston Post Rd. Rye, NY. A committal service will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
