Daniel J. Romanello, 72, a resident of Greenwich, CT. and formerly of Port Chester, NY died October 30, 2017.  He was born March 21, 1945 in Port Chester to the late Daniel and Helen Czarkowski Romanello. He graduated from Port Chester  High School in 1963 and Pace University with an Associates Degree in Business . Mr. Romanello served in the United States Marines Corps from 1966 to 1969. He was predeceased by his wife Valerie and brother Joseph.  Mr. Romanello was a retired employee of Lucent Technology in New York City. He could be found out on Long Island Sound with his family waterskiing and fishing. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and playing cards. He was a passionate golfer having won the Greenwich Town Tournament several years.  He was a 40 year member of Mellor Engine & Hose Co. #3 of the Port Chester Volunteer Fire Department.  He was the current Vice President and past President. Dan was a member of the St. Lawrence Club in Greenwich, CT., the Glenville VFW, Greenwich Knights of Columbus Council #39 and the Corvette Club of Westchester. He is survived by his beloved children Daniel Romanello and his wife Tina, Dana Romanello-Flynn and  her husband John, grandchildren Pace Romanello, Sean Daniel and Jamison Flynn all of Greenwich, CT. He is also survived by his sister Mary Romanello of Rye, NY and his nephews William and Philip and nieces Katherine and Sydney.  A Memorial Mass will be held 10AM on Saturday November 11, 2017 at Saint Paul's Roman Catholic Church 84 Sherwood Ave. Greenwich, CT. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to ABRI/Homes for the Brave 655 Park Ave. Bridgeport, CT  06604 www.homesforthebrave.org
