Frank P. Zumbo

Frank P. Zumbo, Sr. a resident of Stratford, Ct. and formerly of Port Chester, NY died July 14, 2016. He was born July 24, 1926 in Port Chester to the late Domenick and Carmela DiGregorio Zumbo. He graduated from Port Chester High School in 1944. Mr. Zumbo served in the United States Air force during World War II.  On June 18, 1950 he was married to Stella Catanzaro.  Mr. Zumbo was the retired superintendent of buildings and grounds for Blind Brook Schools. He was a parishioner of the Our Lady of Mercy Church. He is survived by his wife Stella Zumbo of Stratford, Ct., sons Paul Zumbo of Cos Cob, Ct. and Frank Zumbo, Jr. and wife Kimberly of Fort Lauderdale, Fl., daughters Josephine Adimando and husband Carmine of Trumbull, Ct. and Carmela Flanagan and husband James of Mooresville, NC., daughter in law Joan Zumbo, 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister Pauline Frank.  Visitation will be 4-8PM on Sunday July 17, 2016 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10AM on Monday July 18, 2016 at Our Lady of Mercy Church 260 Westchester Ave. Port Chester, NY. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery Rye Brook, NY
