Frank “Perky” DiLeo, 85, a lifelong resident of Port Chester, passed away suddenly  April 9, 2017. Frank was born May 19, 1931 in Port Chester one of 9 Children to the late Antonio DiLeo and Applonia Sicuranza. He graduated from Port Chester High School in 1949. Frank served his country during the Korean War, stationed in Germany as a motor pool technician. When he returned home he soon meet his wife, Freda Ritacco and started his successful business Esso Station on the Post Rd. Perky moved onto his new career at Pitney Bowes. Where he spent the next 20 years quickly rising to the head of The Pitney Bowes Employee Assocaition. After retirement he worked at Monroe College in New Rochelle, NY. He was a parishioner of the Our Lady of Mercy Church in Port Chester, a member of the Catholic War Veterans and a member of the Port Chester Knights of Columbus.
Frank truly had a zest for life and loved spending time with his family.  He was loved by all who knew him for his positive attitude, honesty, generosity and sense of humor.
  He is survived by his wife Ann Ritacco DiLeo of Port Chester, children, Toni Ann Cusma and husband Paul of of Ossining, NY.,  Lisa Sorbella  and husband John of Stamford, CT., Anthony M. DiLeo and wife Ellen of Fairfield, CT., and Alfred J. DiLeo  and wife Lisa of Port Chester, NY., brother Raymond DiLeo of Port Chester, NY., sister Dolores Cheska of Stamford, CT.,  grandchildren, John-Francis, Michael, Angelica, Thomas, Anthony Salvatore, Anthony Raymond, Trina, Alfred, MacKenzie and Theresa. He was predeceased by his brothers, George, Arthur, Vincent and Michael DiLeo, sisters, Carmella Postilione and Elvira Esposito  Visitation will be 4-8PM Tuesday April 11, 2017 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:30PM on Wednesday April 12, 2017 at Our Lady of Mercy Church 260 Westchester Ave. Port Chester, NY. Interment to follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery Rye, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital Memphis TN.
