George J Dunphy

George J. Dunphy, 76, a lifelong resident of Greenwich, CT. died May 9, 2017. He was born July 28, 1940 in Greenwich to the late George and Mildred Roth Dunphy. He graduated from Greenwich High School. Mr. Dunphy was a nursery man at Roth Brothers Nursery in Armonk, NY. He was a member of the Saint Paul's Lutheran Church in Rye Brook, NY and a member of the Greenwich Fire Department.
 He is survived by his cousins Ruth Ann Cosgrove, Patricia Quell and Catherine Sweet all of Port Chester, Carl and Walter Roth of Bedford, NY., Thomas Roth of Greenwich, CT., Barbara Melot of Punta Gorda, FL., Marilyn Roth Banks of Florida, Bruce Roth of North Carolina, Alfred Roth of Connecticut, Herbert Ruth of New Jersey and James Ruth of Katonah, NY. and many other extended family. He was predeceased by his cousin Karen Roth Hodge  
A funeral service will be held 10AM on Thursday May 11, 2017 at Saint Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church 761 King St. Rye Brook, NY. Interment to follow at Putnam Cemetery Greenwich, Ct. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in memory of Mr. Dunphy may be made to Saint Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church
