Gertrude "Trudy" (Vaccaro) Latella

Gertrude “Trudy” Latella, 89, a lifelong resident of Port Chester passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 4, 2017 She was born February 7, 1928 in Port Chester to the late Canio and Maria Summa Vaccaro.  She was raised and educated in Port Chester. Ms. Latella was a parishioner of the Holy Rosary Church in Port Chester and a member of the Port Chester Senior Center. She is survived by her daughter Bernadetta Zullo of Tarrytown, NY., and son Paul Latella of Harrison, NY., sister Carmella Catalano of Port Chester, NY., granddaughters, Nicole (James) Kahn, Kristy (Greg) Millette, Kasey (Rich) Gregory and Karey (Frank) Arcara and 7 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter in law Gloria Latella, brothers William, Anthony, John and Salvatore Vaccaro and sister Mae Varbero.  Visitation will be 4-8PM on Friday April 7, 2017 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Funeral Service and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the American Lung Association .
