Joseph Arthur Galasso

Joseph Arthur Galasso, 31, a lifelong resident of Port Chester died suddenly on March 26, 2017. He was born July 26, 1985 in Port Chester to Richard Galasso and Beth Colasanto Galasso.  He was raised and educated Port Chester and graduated from Archbishop Stepinac High School in 2003. He graduated from Baron Institute of Technology with a certificate in mechanics.  Joseph was a roll off truck driver with City Carting in Stamford, CT.  He was member of the Port Chester Volunteer Fire Department currently with Mellor Engine & Hose Co. #3.  Joe is survived by his parents Richard and Beth Galasso of Cape Canaveral, FL., His best friend and brother Daniel Galasso of Port Chester, NY., maternal grandmother Dorothy Colasanto of Rye Brook, NY., cousin Jenifer Galasso and best friend Kristin Marino and many other aunts, uncles and cousins. He also leaves behind his beloved dogs Petey and Jake and cats Ritchie and Charlie. Visitation will be 4-8PM on Thursday March 30, 2017 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 10AM on Friday March 31, 2017 at Corpus Christi Church 136 South Regent St. Port Chester, NY. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery Rye Brook, NY.  Memorial donations in memory of Joe may be made to Mellor Engine & Hose Co. #3 P.O. Box 575 Port Chester, NY 10573
