Julie (Karavara) Kassas

Julie Kassas,86, a former resident of Rye Brook, NY died February 1, 2018. She was born August 13, 1931 in Greece and immigrated to the United States of the age of 5. She was raised and educated in Ohio graduating from University of Youngstown.  Mrs. Kassas was a retired music teacher for the Port Chester Public School.  She was the widow of James Kassas who died July 4, 2008.  Mrs. Kassas is survived by her son Christopher Kassas and his wife Sandra of Port Chester, grandchildren Samantha Ciriello, Corey Brinkerhoff, Jesse Brinkerhoff, Mackenzie Brinkerhoff and Daniel Brinkerhoff, niece Nellie Sakellari.  Visitation will be 4-8PM on Tuesday February 6, 2018 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.  Funeral service will be 11:30AM on Wednesday February 7, 2018 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Interment to follow at Flushing Cemetery Queens, NY.
