Louis S Di Leo, Sr.

Louis S. Di Leo, Sr, 93, a lifelong resident of Port Chester died January 11, 2017.  He was born November 21, 1923 in Port Chester to the late Michael and Alfonsina Gianella Di Leo. He graduated from Port Chester High School. He served during World War II in the Pacific Theater and was honorably discharged from the United States Army Air Corps.  Mr. Di Leo was an entrepreneur. Prior to that he drove for Swackhammer and Weyerhaeuser Co.  Mr. Di Leo is survived by his son Louis S. Di Leo, Jr. of Putnam Valley, NY and daughter Victoria Di Leo of Machipongo, VA., grandchildren, George Szczerba, Jr.,  Daniel Mota and wife Kim, Louis S. Di Leo, III. and David Mario Di Leo. and several great grandchildren. Also surviving is his sister Mary Mannetti of Port Chester.  He was predeceased by his brothers Mario, Tulio and Victor Di Leo, sisters Rose and Ann Di Leo and Connie Genovese,  also surviving are several  nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 4-8PM today Friday January 13, 2017 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Funeral service will be 9:30AM on Saturday January 14, 2017 at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery Rye Brook, NY.
