Luigi Presta, Sr.

Luigi Presta, Sr., 70, a resident of Port Chester passed away surrounded with his family by his side on November 21, 2014. He was born April 23, 1944 in San Vicenzo La Costa, Provence of Cosenza, Italy to the late Francesco & Annunziata Presta.  He was raised and educated in Italy. Mr. Presta immigrated to the USA in 1972. He was a retired employee of J.J. Cassone Bakery. Luigi loved his family, especially his only granddaughter Emily. Luigi enjoyed his home, homemade wine and garden. He was a loving man, whose only wish was to spend time enjoying and loving his family.  He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years Maria Presta, sons, Roberto Presta and wife Danielle, Luigi Presta, Jr. and wife Luciana and Marcello Presta and girlfriend Elise Corbo, and granddaughter Emily Presta. He is also survived by 5 sisters. He was predeceased by 2 brothers and 1 sister.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30AM on Saturday November 29., 2014 at Corpus Christi Church 136 South Regent St. Port Chester, NY. Entombment to follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery Rye Brook, NY. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
