Maria Addolorata Capocci

Maria Addolorata Capocci, 91, a resident of Port Chester died January 26, 2015. She was born October 21, 1923 in Picinisco, Italy to the late Gerardo and Christina DeMarco. She was married to Giacinto Capocci on April 24, 1949 in Italy. Mr. Capocci died August 11, 2006.  Mrs. Capocci was a homemaker and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and was considered the head of the family. She is survived by her beloved children Gerald Capocci and wife Josephine of Greenwich, CT. Anna Massarella and husband Albert of Myrtle Beach, SC and Emily Conetta and husband Joseph of Darien, CT. 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, Stephen Capocci, Diana Capocci. Christopher Capocci and wife Sarah, Michael Massarella and wife Alesia, Christina Conetta and Nicholas Conetta, great grandchildren Elizabeth Capocci and Michael Thomas Massarella. Besides her husband she was predeceased by 4 brothers and 1 sister. Visitation will be 5-9PM on Thursday January 29, 2015 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30AM on Friday January 30, 2015 at Corpus Christi Church 136 South Regent St. Port Chester, NY. Entombment to follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery Rye Brook, NY. Memorial donations in memory of Mrs. Capocci may be made to the Corpus Christi Church.
