Maria Domenica (Massarella) Lanni

Maria Domenica Lanni, 92, a resident of Port Chester died March 11, 2018. She was born November 23, 1925 in Settefrati, Italy to the late Guiseppe and Rafaella Policella Massarella. She was raised and educated in Italy and immigrated to the United States in 1969.  Maria was a retired supervisor in the housekeeping department at the United Hospital in Port Chester. She was the widow of Innocenzo Lanni who died January 12, 2000.  Maria is survived by her beloved daughters Maria Pierdomenico and her husband Raymond of Higganum, CT., and Donna Slater of Port Chester, NY., brother Luciano Massarella of Toronto, Canada. Besides her husband she was predeceased by her granddaughter Nicole Slater, brothers Pasquale, Loreto, Antonio and Albert Massarella and sisters Anina Ridolfo and Antonia Conetta. Visitation will be 4-8PM on Friday March 16, 2018 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 10AM on Saturday March 17, 2018 at St. Paul's RC Church 84 Sherwood Ave. Greenwich, CT. Entombment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery Greenwich, CT.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Port Chester-Rye-Rye Brook Ambulance Corps 417 Ellendale Ave. Port Chester, NY 10573 or to the Alzheimer's  Association www.Alz.org
