Maria (Lagana) Pirrotta

Maria Pirrotta, 72, a resident of Rye Brook died May 31, 2016. She was 72 and was born December 15, 1943 in Scillia, Reggio Calabria, Italy to the late Pasquale and Marianna Nicolo Lagana. She was raised and educated in Italy. Mrs. Pirrotta was a homemaker. She was devoted to her family and is survived by her beloved husband Rocco Pirrotta of Rye Brook, NY, her loving children Domenico Pirrotta and wife Maria of Cortlandt Manor, NY., Maria Vitiello and husband Marco of Stratford, CT. and Pasquale Pirrotta of Rye Brook, NY., her grandchildren Domenico Rocco, Natalia, Alex and Lucas Rocco.  Also surviving brothers Domenico Lagana and wife Rosa of Port Chester, NY and Anthony Lagana and wife Maria of Rye, NY., sister in law Teresa Lagana of Port Chester, NY. and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brothers Santo and Rocco Lagana.  Visitation will be 5-9PM on Thursday June 2, 2016 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial will 9:00AM on Friday June 3, 2016 at Holy Rosary Church Don Bosco Pl. Port Chester, NY. Interment to follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery Rye, NY. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
