Maureen E (Hartrey) Ward

Maureen E. Ward, 71, a lifelong resident of Port Chester died November 19, 2015. She was born July 15, 1944 in Port Chester to the late John and Gertrude Searing Hartrey. Maureen was raised and educated in Port Chester graduating from Port Chester High School in 1962. She was married to Donald Ward on September 11, 1965 at Our Lady of Mercy Church.  Don died April 9, 2010.  She was a administrative assistant for the Bank of New York for over 20 years until her retirement in 2007.  She was a parishioner of the Corpus Christi Church.  Maureen is survived by her devoted daughters, Christine Piper and husband Ronald, Jr. of Copake, NY., Heather Tietjen and husband Kurt of Rye, NY., Donna Scullion and husband John Jr. of Port Chester, NY., beloved grandchildren Ronald Piper, III, Stephen Piper, Nathan Tietjen, Elizabeth Tietjen and Veronica Scullion.  brother Jeff Hartrey and wife Grace and sister Carol LaDore all of Port Chester, NY  She was predeceased by her grandchildren Judy and Jarrett Tietjen.  Visitation will be 4-8PM on Monday November 23, 2015 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30AM on Tuesday November 24, 2015 at Corpus Christi Church 136 South Regent St. Port Chester, NY. Interment is private.
