Nicola D. Spedaliere, 94, a resident of Port Chester, NY died June 24, 2015 peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He was born July 16, 1920 in Montorio Nei Frentani, Campobasso, Italy to the late Giuseppe and Maria Luisa Bucci Spedaliere. He was raised and educated in Italy and immigrated to the United States in 1947. He was married to Maria Giovanna Malizia on October 16, 1949 at Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Port Chester. Mrs. Spedaliere died January 5, 1992.  He served as a Carabiniere with the Italian State Police.  After immigrating to the United States was a baker at Arnolds Bakery in Greenwich, Ct, he was also a landscaper.   Mr. Spedaliere served in the Italian Army during World War II. He was a longtime parishioner of the Our Lady of the Rosary Church. He is survived by his beloved children, Joseph N. Spedaliere and his wife Marina of Old Greenwich, Ct., Gina (Mary Jean) Costanzo and husband Joe of Croton-on-Hudson, NY., and Anna Marcin and husband George of Port Chester, NY., grandchildren Natalie M. Spedaliere and Veronica C. Spedaliere of Old Greenwich, Ct., and Nicholas G. Marcin of Port Chester, NY., sister Teresa Campanelli of the Bronx, NY., and brother-in-law Joseph Varamo of Port Chester, NY., numerous nieces and nephews in the US, Canada and Italy.  Visitation will be 4-8PM on Saturday and Sunday June 27th and 28th, 2015 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc., Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:00AM on Monday June 29, 2015 at Our Lady of the Rosary Church Don Bosco Pl. Port Chester, NY. Interment to follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery Rye Brook, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Calvary Fund-Home Hospice 1740 Eastchester Rd.  Bronx, NY 10461
