Romeo Vito Cervi, 85, a 50 year resident of White Plains died on October 12, 2016 after a long illness at home.‘Ray’ was born in Port Chester, NY in 1930 to the late Ernesto and Carmela Cervi. He was a proud graduate of Port Chester High School and a Korean War veteran. He was a longtime master plumber. He is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years, Josephine, and 2 loving children – Marie Cervi of Hartsdale and Ernest Cervi of Southhampton, NY. Also surviving are a brother Domenick ‘Shave’ Cervi of Port Chester, and sisters Ida Petrone of Cos Cob, CT. and Anna DeMarco of Rye Brook, NY. Two sisters-in-law Linda Asta of MA. and Teresa Fabiano of PA. and numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.He was predeceased by his sister Amelia Stingone and brother Ernest Cervi. His enduring spirit and good-nature will be forever missed.Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9PM on Friday October 14, 2016 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30AM on Saturday October 15, 2016 at Corpus Christi Church, 136 South Regent St, Port Chester NY Entombment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery Rye Brook, NY. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
