Rose (Catalano) Bivona

ROSE CATALANO BIVONA, of Marietta, Georgia, formerly of Port Chester, NY, passed away on May 23, 2015. Rose was 93.  She was the daughter of Antonio and Maddelena Repaci Catalano.  She worked for Homelite Corp. and the Port Chester YMCA, before retiring in 1987. Rose was a past member of the St. Anne’s Sodality.   She was married to James J. Bivona for 58 yrs until his death in 2003. She is survived by her sister, Grace Catalano, son, Joseph J. (wife Beth), daughter, Joanne Bivona Selema, her grandchildren, Robin Bivona, Christopher Bivona, Christine Selema, and Stephen Selema, and three great grandsons.  Rose was predeceased by her brothers, Anthony and George Catalano, and her sister, Martha Catalano Bambace.  Memorial Mass at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, Don Bosco Place, Port Chester, NY on Monday, June 29, 2015 10:45 am.
