Sheryl Lynn Covelli

Sheryl Lynn Covelli, age 67, wife of Rocco Covelli, entered into eternal rest at her home in Winterville, NC on August 14, 2015.  Born on July 27, 1948, Sheryl was the daughter of the late Eugene G. and Bernice J. Stevens of White Plains, NY.   Sheryl was a graduate of the White Plains High School class of 1966.  On November 13, 1976 she wed Rocco Covelli of Port Chester, NY.   The adventures, companionship and love they shared symbolized such an appreciation for each other during the 38 wonderful years of life they spent together.  She retired after 40 years of dedicated service with the Bank of New York and spent her retirement years with her husband in Winterville, NC.  Sheryl lived her life expressing selfless love and compassion.  She could ease any moment with her positive nature and lightness of heart.  The essence of her presence alone was enough to fill a room with laughter and warmth.  She will forever be remembered for her kind spirit and beautiful soul.  
 
Sheryl is survived by her loving husband Rocco; her sister Carol L Sember of Trumbull, CT; brother-in-law Vincent Covelli of Port Chester, NY; nephew Dr. Vincent A Covelli of Virginia; brother-in-law Shawn A Sember, niece April L. Sember, and nephew Andrew J. Sember of Trumbull, CT.
 
Visitation will be 4-8PM on Sunday August 23, 2015 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Funeral Service will be 10AM on Monday August 24, 2015 at the funeral home. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY
