Vito A. Gianfrancesco

Vito A. Gianfrancesco, 88, a resident of Port Chester died December 12, 2014. He was born July 1, 1926 in Port Chester to the late Isadore and Roseann Federice Gianfrancesco. He was raised and educated in Port Chester. He served in the United States Navy as a Seabee during World War II serving in the Pacific Theater. Mr. Gianfrancesco was married April 17, 1948 to Josephine Chiappetta at Sacred Heart Church in Byram, Ct. He was a retired employee of Arnold’s Bakery.  Mr. Gianfrancesco is survived by his wife Josephine of Port Chester, daughter RoseMarie Antonopoulos and husband Nikolas of Placida, Fl, and son Michael Gianfrancesco and wife Darcy of Santa Ana, Ca. 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, brothers Frank Gianfrancesco and wife Agnes of Norwalk, Ct. and Joseph Gianfrancesco of Port Chester, NY. He was predeceased by his son Vito Gianfrancesco, Jr. and brothers Angelo and Isadore Jr. Visitation will be 4-8PM on Monday December 16, 2014 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:00AM on Tuesday December 16, 2014 at Corpus Christi Church 136 South Regent St. Port Chester, NY. Entombment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery Rye Brook, NY.
