Olga M (Kralovenec) Mayores

Olga M. Mayores, age 103, a lifelong resident of the Byram community, passed away at the home her father built on Saturday April 20, 2024.  She was born March 21, 1921 in her family home to the late John and Zuzanna Spirko Kralovenec. She was raised and educated in Greenwich graduating from Greenwich High School.  Olga was married on December 22, 1943 to George Mayores at the Sacred Heart Church in Byram, Ct.  Mr. Mayores died January 3, 2000.  Mrs. Mayores was a retired food service worker for Greenwich Public Schools.  She was a lifelong member of the Saint Paul Lutheran Church in Byram and was a member of the Mary Martha Guild and the Altar Guild.  From childhood she was a member of the Sokol Lodge #7 and participated in group calisthenics through her adulthood. She loved cooking and baking food of her Slovak heritage.

Mrs. Mayores is survived by her beloved daughter Priscilla Mayores Altmann and numerous Mayores and Kralovenec family members.

Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by her brothers, John, Walter, Andrew, Steven Kralovenec and Infant brother Rudolph Kralovenec.

A funeral Service will be held 11AM on Saturday April 27, 2024 at Saint Paul Lutheran Church 286 Delavan Ave. Greenwich CT. Interment to follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery Rye, NY.
