Achille Florino Alonzi was born on October 25, 1932, in Piscinisco, Frosinone, Italy to Rosalba Capaldi and Achille Alonzi. There he met the love of his life, Edda Pelosi, and they were married almost 63 years. He had two daughters, Marilyn (predeceased) and Rosanne, and two sons, Achille III and Roland; daughters-in-law Susan and Jennifer; grandchildren Edward, Elizabeth, and Patterson; sisters Fiorentina (predeceased), Gilda, twin Rosalba, and Gemma.

Achille spent his career as a private music teacher and at Arnold Bakery. He was an accomplished musician and bocce player. A deeply spiritual man, Achille was a lifelong parishioner of Corpus Christi Church and The Society of the Holy Name. He was a true gentleman who saw the good in everything, and a caring, gentle soul, beloved by all. Achille was known for his quick wit, easy smile, and genial nature. His wife, children, and grandchildren were devoted to him, and life will never be the same for them.
