Angelina V (Masi) Cassone

Angelina V. Cassone. 87, former owner of Cassone's Bakery died December 10, 2017. She was born March 30, 1930 in Stamford, CT. to the late Nicholas and Lucy Romanielli Masi. She was raised and educated in Stamford graduating from Stamford High School. She was married January 14, 1956 to Rocco Cassone. Mr. Cassone died June 18, 1987.  After her husbands passing she and her children owned and operated the family bakery which continues today.  She was a longtime parishioner of Corpus Christi Church, a member of the Lauderdale Golf Club and a member of the Westchester Hills Country Club. Mrs. Cassone was an avid golfer and enjoyed sports.  She is survived by her daughters Mary Lou Cassone of Greenwich, CT. and Nancy Linden of Newtown, CT. grandchildren Amanda Mogrovejo, Kristen Mogrovejo, Kayla Mogrovejo, Robert Linden, Caitlyn Linden, Rocky Cassone and Lauren Cassone, great grandchildren Jake and Emma Cassone.  Besides her husband she was predeceased by her sons Nicholas and Rocky Cassone, brother William Masi and sister Marion Grande. Visitation will be 4-8PM on Friday December 15, 2017 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 10AM on Saturday December 16, 2017 at Corpus Christi Church 136 South Regent St. Port Chester, NY.
