Antoinette Tartaglia

Antoinette Anne Tartaglia 97, a resident of Port Chester, NY died December 26, 2017. She was born July 15, 1920 in San Arsenio, Italy to Angelina and Giovanni Ippolito. Anne was raised and educated in Greenwich, CT and was married to Vincent J. Tartaglia ("Vee Jay") who died December 10, 1983. Anne and Jimmy worked beside one another at their restaurant, and she later worked at Jack's Fabrics in Port Chester. She was devoted to her family, hardworking and deeply religious. She was a parishioner of Corpus Christi Church. Antoinette is survived by her sons John Tartaglia of Worcester MA, James Tartaglia (Linda Tufo) Worcester MA, Daniel Tartaglia (Linda White) Rye Brook, NY, daughters Nancy Tartaglia (Ronald Lowe) Fairfield, CT and Suzanne Koveleski (Murray Ritter) Charleston, SC; her five grandchildren Joy and Ivy Tartaglia (Worcester MA), Lauren White Tartaglia (Hector Guivas) of Norwalk, CT, Christine White Tartaglia (New York, NY) and V.J. Koveleski (Charleston, SC), great-grandchild Roman Daniel Guivas; and Anne's sister Angela Alvey (Belleview FL). Visitation will be 4-8PM on Tuesday January 2, 2018 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM on Wednesday January 3, 2018 at Corpus Christi Church 136 South Regent St. Port Chester, NY. Interment to follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY. Memorial donations may be made to Saint Jude's Children's Research Hospital Memphis, TN.
