Barbara J (Knoepfler) Sileo

Barbara Jo Sileo, nee Knoepfler, 71, a resident of Purchase, NY passed away on May 26, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born  May 29, 1945 in the Bronx. She was raised and educated in Bronx. Barbara was a caring and loving kindergarten teacher for 35 years at schools in Yonkers. Her many passions included home, family, gardening, decorating and a love of animals.  Barbara is the beloved wife of Peter Sileo and devoted mother of Louis Mancuso and his fiancée Megan.  She is also survived by her brother Joel Knoepfler and wife Jan and sister Luann Rohner and husband Wayne.  Visitation will be 4-8PM on Tuesday May 30, 2017 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Funeral Service will be 1PM on Wednesday May 31, 2017 at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery Rye, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association or the ASPCA.
