It is with great sorrow the family of Charles Thomas DeGregoria announces his passing. After a courageous battle with Cancer Charles was called home on June 29, 2018 he passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Regional Hospice of Danbury.
Charles was born to the late Charles and Laura DeGregoria on July 8, 1947 in the Bronx, New York. Charles was blessed with two daughters Rachel and Laura who were the light of his life. He had a second chance at love with his beloved wife Susan.
Charles was a proud Veteran having served his Country with the United States Army. Before his retirement in 2018 Mr. DeGregoria was the proud owner of Carpet World of Westchester, a company he both owned and operated. He was a genuine craftsman and loved to work with his hands. He lived life to the fullest and showed everyone in his life that hard work and the simplest pleasures in life, gave you the greatest gift of all. Above all, family meant the most to Charles; he was the pillar of strength for his family and friends, he was always there to lend hand.
As a loving father, devoted husband, beloved brother and cherished friend Charles leaves a legacy of love and devotion that will continue to grow in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his cherished daughter Rachel, his brother Donald and sister Rachel. He is predeceased by his daughter Laura who preceded him on September 28, 2002. He is also predeceased by his loving wife Susan (2015). He will be greatly missed by all.

Friends and family will gather for a visitation on Monday July 2, 2018 at the Craft Memorial Home, Inc. 40 Leicester St. Port Chester NY, 10573 between the hours of 4:00 pm-8:00 pm. A graveside service will be conducted at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery 80 Commerce St. Hawthorne NY 10532. Following the service Charles will be brought to his final resting place at the Mount Pleasant.
