Donna M (Pietro) Tomassetti

Donna Pietro Tomassetti, 74, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on May 17, 2017. She was an extraordinarily strong and loving woman who was selfless above all things. Whether you were family, a friend or even a stranger, you experienced her giving heart. Putting others first was how she lived each day of her life. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that she is home again wrapped in the eternal arms of her mother, father and sister. Donna was born in Port Chester, NY on December 23, 1942 to Dominick and Angelina Pietro. She is survived by her son, Arthur Tomassetti (wife, Marchelle) and her daughter, Debbie Tomassetti Nanus (husband, Mike); her grandchildren, Taryn Tomassetti and DJ Tomassetti; her nieces, Jackie O’Leary Rothermich (husband, Chris), and Danielle O’Leary Frink (husband, Matt); her nephews, Christopher O’Leary and Kevin O’Leary (wife, Lindsay); her great-nephew, Austin Rothermich; and great-nieces, Courtney Rothermich and Violet O’Leary. She is predeceased by her father, Dominick Pietro; her mother, Angelina Pietro; her sister, Angela O’Leary; and her nephew, Denis O’Leary. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (Partners in Hope) would be appreciated. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10Am on Tuesday May 23, 2017 at Corpus Christi Church 136 South Regent St. Port Chester, NY. Entombment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY. There will be no visitation.
