Esther (Diaz) Alvarez

Esther Alvarez, 92, a resident of Port Chester died August 24, 2017. She was born February 19, 1925 in Cuba to the late Andres and Zoila Guerra Diaz. She was married to Jose A. Alvarez on February 23, 1963 in Mamaroneck, NY. Mr. Alvarez died August 13, 1993.  Mrs. Alvarez was a retired home health  care aid.  She is survived by her son Andres Alvarez and his wife Erin of Yorktown Heights, NY., and daughter Leticia Alvarez Nardone and husband Peter of North Salem, NY., sister Anna Gonzalez of Port Chester, NY. and four grandchildren Javier Alvarez, Shaun Alvarez, Anastasia Nardone and Katerina Nardone. A memorial gathering will be held 5-8PM on Tuesday August 29, 2017 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Don Bosco Community Center 22 Don Bosco Pl.
