Frances "Nanny Franny" G (Florio) Ferretti

Frances G. "Nanny Franny" Ferretti, 84, a resident of Port Chester died January 31, 2018. She was born February 22, 1933 in the Bronx to the late Joseph and Mary Pagano Florio.  She was raised and educated in the Bronx.  Mrs. Ferretti was married October 18, 1952 to Joseph S. Ferretti at Our Lady of Carmel Church Bronx, NY. Mr. Ferretti died September 4, 1989. She was a retired accounts receivables clerk for Arnolds' Bakery.  She was a parishioner of Corpus Christi Church. She was an avid New York Yankee fan, and enjoyed listening to Johnny Mathis. Mrs. Ferretti is survived by her beloved children Joseph (Betsy) of Port Chester, NY., Cookie, Laura Sandarciero (Joseph) of Port Chester, NY., Bob (Lynne) of Stamford, CT. and Maria Rakoczy (Richard) of West Haven, CT., sister Annette Mastrogiacomo of Waldwick, NJ., sister in law Cookie Florio of New Jersey, 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother Rocco Florio. Visitation will be 4-8PM on Friday February 2, 2018 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30AM at Corpus Christi Church 136 South Regent St. Port Chester, NY. Interment to follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery Rye, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Pediatric Stroke Warriors.
