Frank William Magee, III, 68 died June 9, 2017 at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY. Born November 10, 1948 to Frank and Lydia Licea Magee, Jr. in Port Chester, NY. An avid fisherman, hunter, photographer and woodworker, his family is comforted in knowing he is at peace to forever explore the lakes and woodlands of New York State. A 1966 graduate of Port Chester High School, Frank earned a Bachelor of Science in forest biology and wildlife management from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, and a Bachelor of Arts in forestry from Syracuse University in 1970. A Master of Humanities from Manhattanville College in 1974, licensed by the City College of New York, Frank taught environmental science and greenhouse management for Southern Westchester BOCES from 1970-2005.  A certified consultant Urban Forester for the Department of Environmental Conservation, he was project Manager for the Youth Conservation Corps. Between the summers of 1980-1987, overseeing crews of teenagers and young adults working on tress, clearing and restoring trails in the parks and Nature preserves throughout Westchester County. He is survived by his daughters Kelly Kugel and husband Kevin and their son Matthew,  Amy Sullivan and her husband Brian and their children Brendan, Eleanor, Shea and Layla. Brother in law and sister in law, Tom Onofrio and his wife Mary Ellen and their children Richard Onofrio and his wife Heather and their daughter JJ Onofrio; Lynn Verrecchia and husband Brad and their sons Cooper and Graham; Chrissie Onofrio Franceschini and her wife Kathy, and their children Nicole, Jessie, Ryann and Jamie. Also survived by his ex wife Marie, whom he married in October 1971 and his dear friend Rose Sabia.
Visitation will be 4-8PM on Friday June 16, 2017 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc,.  Funeral Service will be 10AM on Saturday June 17, 2017 at the funeral home. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers please donate to the National Parks Foundation, www.nationalparks.org
