, Geri Greto passed away suddenly on August 17, 2019 in her home in White Plains, NY at the age of 73. Geri was born March 27, 1946 in United Hospital in Port Chester, NY. She attended Port Chester schools and graduated from Port Chester High School in 1964. She was an administrator at Kraft Foods for over 25 years, and worked as a hostess for many years at The Willet House in Port Chester. She raised her two sons, James (Jimmy) Nicastro of Hudson FL, who predeceased her in 2016, and Dean Nicastro of Manhattan,initially in New Rochelle and then in Port Chester. She was also predeceased by her parents Sam (2014) and Betty Greto (2004). Geri was a caring and giving, sociable and outgoing person, who loved spending time with her family and friends. Her large extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins was very dear to her, as were the memories of the many family occasions they enjoyed together throughout her life. She will be sincerely missed.
She is survived by her son Dean Nicastro, grandchildren Kaelyand Liam, and daughter-in-law Susan Nicastro of Hudson, FL, siblings Sammy Greto (Barbara), Mary Theresa Greto Pierce (Bob), Stephen Greto (Donna) and Paul Greto (Janine), and many nieces, nephews and cousins, all very special to her.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30AM Wednesday August 21, 2019 at Parish of Saint John Bosco (Corpus Christ) 136 South Regent St. Port Chester, NY. There will be no visitation. Interment is private.
