Hugh Edward Macken, 78, a resident of Greenwich, CT., and formerly of Rye, NY died August 28, 2017. He was born October 5, 1938 in New York City to the late Edward and Mary Bonner Macken. He graduated from Cathedral High School and St. Joseph's Seminary in Dunwoodie, NY. Mr. Macken was married to Marcella Del Bello on August 14, 1971 at Our Lady Mercy Church in Port Chester. His career was in sales with the Chamber of Commerce and the NFIB. Prior to that he owned his own employment agency, Mack Personnel in Manhattan.
  He was a parishioner of St. Mary's Church in Greenwich, CT.  Mr. Macken is survived by his loving wife Marcella Macken of Greenwich, Ct., his beloved sons Hugh Macken and his wife Josephine of Marshfield, WI., and John Macken and his wife Christine of Wilton, CT., dear grandchildren Ana, Kevin, Claire and Timothy. Also survived by his sisters Eileen Barone of Yonkers, NY., Mary Scelsi and husband Vincent of Yorktown, NY., Ann DeLucia and husband Richard of Yorktown, NY and Kathy Petrelli and husband John of Apex, NC. Hugh was a faithful Christian and a loving husband, father, father in law, brother, grandfather, a devoted Notre Dame fan and a avid golfer.
Visitation will be 4-8PM on Friday September 1, 2017 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 10AM on Saturday September 2, 2017 at St. Mary's Church 178 Greenwich Ave. Greenwich, CT. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY.
