Inez A Macri

Inez Angela Macri, 76, a resident of Port Chester, NY died September 12, 2019. She was born March 16, 1943 at United Hospital to Anne Scafa Macri and Anthony J. Macri. She was raised and educated in Port Chester graduating from Port Chester High School Class of 1961 .  Inez was a administrative assistant at Fawcetts Publishing in Greenwich Ct, in her early career and later moved to General Reinsurance where she worked for over 30 years, first in the Records Department and then as a Claims File Manger.  Inez was an avid parishioner and supporter of the Holy Rosary Church where her parents were married, and the Don Bosco center all of her life.  She was a die hard Yankee’s fan and could recite all of the team’s stats on demand. She was predeceased by her beloved parents Anne and Anthony J. Macri and her maternal grandparents Alfonso and Pasquelina Scafa and paternal grandparents Rocco and Angelina Macri. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10AM on Friday September 20, 2019 at Church of the Resurrection 901 Boston Post Rd. Rye, NY. Entombment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Convent of the Sacred Heart 1177 King St. Greenwich, Ct 06831
