Julia Gencarelli

Julia Gencarelli, 91, a resident of Port Chester died May 30, 2018 at home surrounded by her family.  She was born August 26, 1926 in Acri, Cosenza, Italy to the late Giuseppe and Maria Gabriel. She was the widow of Carmine Gencarelli who died in 1981. Mrs. Gencarelli was a homemaker and was retired from the Lifesavers Company. She was also a master gardener. She is survived by her daughter Marie Arcuri and husband Alan of Port Chester, sons Angelo Gencarelli of Bedford and Frank Gencarelli and wife Debbie of Harrison, sister Rose Carpenteri of Port Chester, 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Besides her husband she was predeceased by her son Anthony Gencarelli. Visitation will be 4-8PM on Friday June 1, 2018 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial is 9:30AM on Saturday June 2, 2018 at Parish of Saint John Bosco (Corpus Christi) 136 South Regent St. Port Chester, NY. Interment to follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY. Memorial donations may be made to Saint Jude's Children's Research Hospital
