Kiyoko A. Watanabe, 82, a resident of Port Chester died June 13, 2019. She was born April 28, 1937 in Sapporo, Japan to the late Ichiro and Chiyo Matade Suzuki. She was raised and educated in Japan and received her Bachelors degree from Hokkaido University in Sapporo Japan. After immigrating she settled in Port Chester with her family. Mrs. Watanabe was a technician for the Sloan Kettering Institute. She was the widow of Dr. Kyoichi Watanabe. Mrs. Watanabe is survived by her children Kenneth A. Watanabe and wife Thea of Stone Mountain, GA., Shauna Leigh Esposito and husband Ronald of Mamaroneck, NY., Kate Watanabe of Stone Mountain, GA., Kim Cohen and husband Kenneth of Massachusetts, Kelly Bedford and husband Daniel of Minnesota and Katherine Watanabe of Buchanan, NY and 11 grandchildren. Visitation will be 4-8PM on Thursday June 20, 2019 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Funeral service will be 7:30PM at the funeral home. Interment is private.
