Margarita (Novoa) Pastor

Margarita Novoa Pastor, 77, a long time resident of Port Chester died June 26, 2019. She was born June 22, 1942 in Lawton La Vibora,  Havana, Cuba to the late Benjamin Antonio Novoa and Lidia Micaela Leon. Ms. Pastor was raised and educated in Cuba and immigrated to the United States in 1961 and settled in Port Chester in 1962. She was a retired employee of SUNY Purchase and a parishioner of the Corpus Christi Church in Port Chester.  She is survived by her husband Luis Hernandez of Port Chester, step son-Lou Hernandez of  Pembroke Pines, Fl., step daughter Elizabeth Mooney of Jupiter, Fl.,  brothers Benjamin and Emilio Novoa and sister Juana Maria Novoa all of Florida.  She was predeceased by her son Alex Pastor in 2007.  Visitation will be 5-8PM on Friday June 28, 2019 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.  Mass of Christian Burial will be10Am on Saturday June 29, 2019 at Parish of Saint John Bosco (Corpus Christi) 136 South Regent St. Port Chester, NY. Interment to follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery Rye, NY
