Paster "Pat" M (Fusco) Rutkunas

Paster Mary Fusco Rutkunas, “Pat”, of Port Chester, New York went home to be with Lord and her husband, the late Joseph A. Rutkunas, Sr. on July 11, 2017.   Pat was born on September 1, 1923 in White Plains, NY.  Pat was the loving mother of 4 children, Jo-Ann and her husband James Giannico; Patricia and her husband Thomas Ceraso, Jr.; Joseph, Jr. and his wife Colleen; and Anthony and his long-term girlfriend Pam Lind. She adored her 4 grandchildren Valerie Lynn Giannico and her husband Greg Leonard; James Giannico; Dean and fiancé Brittany and Kyle Rutkunas and his girlfriend Julia; and her four great-grandchildren, who were the princes and princess of her life: Kayleigh and Lucas Leonard, and James, Jr. and Eva Giannico.  She is also survived by her “baby sister,” Ann Germani Rago and predeceased by her parents, Anna and Bernadino Fusco; brothers, Al Fusco, Jerry Fusco and sister Jean Mauro.  Veronica was her loyal and devoted caregiver the last four years of her life, Pat’s passion was her family and making wonderful warm and fun memories for all to cherish. Those memories will remain with all of them for she handcrafted and gifted over 100 afghans which have become treasures to keep them warm!  Pat will always be the treasure of her family as a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, caring sister, aunt and friend.  Pat loved to dance and now she’s dancing in heaven!
