Robert Austin DeBell

Robert Austin DeBell, 44, a longtime resident of Port Chester died December 7, 2019. He was born November 19, 1975 in Port Chester to Austin (Audie) and Linda Nethercott DeBell. He was raised and educated in Port Chester graduating from Blind Brook High School in 1994. Robert  was a steward for the Westchester Hilton in Rye Brook, NY from September 1994 to December 8, 2016.  He was married May 28, 2005 to Pamela Gleit.  Robert loved baseball and collecting baseball cards. He was a devoted fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots.  He also enjoyed going to the mall with Pam. 
Robert fought so hard his whole life against many obstacles and medical issues, but throughout kept a smile on his face.  Whether he saw you everyday or had not seen you in years, he made you feel special.
 Robert is survived by his wife Pamela Gleit DeBell of Larchmont, parents Austin and Linda DeBell of Port Chester, sisters Dineen Anne LaDore and her husband Scott of Port Chester, brother Austin J. DeBell, II and his wife Delia of Johnstown, NY., niece and nephews Austin J. III, Francesca Audra and Gavin Robert, great nephew Austin J. IV, He was predeceased by his twin sister Audra Anne and grandparents Robert A. and Anne C. Nethercott and Austin H. and Margaret G. DeBell.  Visitation will be 4-8PM on Thursday December 12, 2019 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10AM on Friday December 13, 2019 at Parish of St. John Bosco (Our Lady of Mercy) 260 Westchester Ave. Port Chester, NY. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY. Memorial donations in memory of Robert may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children 516 Carew St. Springfield, MA  01104
