Rose M. (Passarelli) Belluscio

Rose M. Belluscio, 100, a resident of Rye Brook died September 7, 2019. She was born May 5, 1919 in Port Chester to the late Francesco and Filomena Guerriero Passarelli. She was raised and educated in Port Chester graduating from Port Chester High School. She was married September 24, 1939 at Holy Rosary Church to Frank Belluscio. Mr. Belluscio died January 2, 2001. Mrs. Belluscio was a hairdresser at Mr. Gene's in Rye, NY.  She was known as the cheesecake lady at her son's restaurant Belluscio's Resturant in Rye, NY.   Mrs. Belluscio was a parishioner of the Corpus Christi Church.  She is survived by her children Frank Belluscio, Jr. of Rye Brook, NY and daughter Nancy Borek and her husband Wesley of Port Chester, NY. She was predeceased by her daughters Linda Peterson and Carol Serman.  Also surviving are her sisters Carmela Sileo and Frances Rich, grandchildren Tiffany Nunez, Tory Scarfone, Victoria Piazza, , Jessica Vrabel, Kimberly Henry, Stephen Peterson, Frank Peterson and Lisa Smith and 13 great grandchildren. Besides her husband and daughters she was predeceased by her brother Sal Passarelli and sisters Mary Creola, Julie Everisto and Elvira Boskello. A Memorial gathering will be held 6-9PM on Monday September 16, 2019 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10AM on Tuesday September 17, 2019 at Parish of Saint John Bosco (Corpus Christi) 136 South Regent St. Port Chester, NY. Entombment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY
