Sarafina Siano

Sarafina (Lee) Siano, a resident of Port Chester, New York, died peacefully, Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at the home of her niece Joyce in Longmont, Colorado.

She worked for both the Penn Central and Metro North Railroads for more than 47 years. She will be most remembered for her love, dedication, unwavering care and generosity to her family and friends.

She is survived by her nieces Joyce Buzzeo and Lori (Buzzeo) Varbaro of Longmont, Colorado, Gerry Siano-Hand of Carmel, Nephew Tom Paladino, Brother-in-law Jerry Paladino of Port Chester, their families, several great nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Victoria (Martello) Siano. Her brothers Fred and wife Josephine, Dominick, Rocco and Anthony and wife Ann and their children Vikki, Joseph and Tricia. Her sisters Mrs. Geroma (Anthony) Buzzeo and Mrs. Marie Paladino.

Mass of Christian burial will be on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 10:30am at St. John Bosco Parish - Corpus Christi Church, 136 S. Regent Street, Port Chester, New York. Interment will follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery, Ridge Street, Rye Brook, New York.
