William J. Santarsiero, 87, formerly of Port Chester, died suddenly November 17, 2018. He was born February 5, 1931 in Port Chester to Andrew and Mamie Santarsiero who predeceased him. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was raised and educated in Port Chester and attended Port Chester High School, graduating in 1950. Mr. Santarsiero met the love of his life, Lillian Albanese Santarsiero, in Port Chester and they married there in 1956. Over their 62 years of marriage, they built their tight-knit family of two sons who survive him, William and Robert. William is married to Laurette and they have three children; Megan, Christine and Lauren: Robert has one daughter Kaitlyn. Mr. Santarsiero is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law Frank and Connie Albanese. He was drafted into the Army and served in the Korean War for two of his four years in the service. He was a dedicated employee of Chevron Oil in Rye for 41 years and retired to Naples, Florida where he lived for many years. Services will be held 8:30Am-to 10:30AM at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. 40 Leicester St. Port Chester, NY on Saturday August 3, 2019 with burial following at Greenwood Union Cemetery Rye, NY at 11AM
