Albert Schnell. III Obituary

Albert H. Schnell III passed away suddenly at the age of 64 on Monday, December 2nd. Albert was born on May 23, 1955 to Mary O’Rourke and Albert Schnell. He was the beloved husband of Emilia Schnell and the devoted father of Francesca Bellomusto (Antonio). He was the very proud Poppy of Nino who he adored. He is survived by his in-laws Domenico and Francesca Imbesi, niece Brianna and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was loved by all of his family and friends. Al worked at the Port Chester Police Department for 34 years and retired as Captain of Detectives. He served his community with honor and was very proud to be a police officer. Al was a mentor, leader, and brother to many and was always willing to help others. He was an avid Yankees and Giants fan and loved watching the games alongside his buddy Max. Al was one of kind, loved having company, always had an open door and open heart. He respected all and will forever leave a footprint on the hearts of all lives he touched. Al was a true kind soul who will be loved and missed forever.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11AM on Monday December 9, 2019  at St. Paul’s Church Roman Catholic Church 84 Sherwood Avenue Greenwich, CT. There will be no visitation.
