Alberta Cardenas

Alberta Cardenas, 92, a resident of Port Chester, NY died January 26, 2022.  She was born November 11,1929 in Cuba to the late Alberto Concepcion and Benita Rodriguez.  She was raised and educated in Cuba and immigrated to the United States in 1966.  Mrs. Cardenas was the widow of Emilio de Cardenas who died December 3, 1962.  She was an employee of Rotanelli Food Co. in New Rochelle, NY.  Mrs. Cardenas is survived by her devoted daughters Aymara de Cardenas of Port Chester, NY and Mayra McCarthy of New Rochelle, NY., grandson Francis A. McCarthy and his wife Maria Lourdes Flores McCarthy of New Rochelle, NY., 3 great grandchildren, brother Enrique Pla of Cuba and sisters Zenaida Concepcion of Cuba and Guillermina de Bara of Connecticut.
Visitation will be 4-8PM on Monday January 31,2022 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.  Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10am on Tuesday, February 1,2022 at the Church of the Resurrection, Boston Post Rd. Rye, NY. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Mount Pleasant, NY.  In lieu of flowers, family requests donations to Calvary Hospital, Bronx, NY, or White Plains Hospital, White Plains, NY.
